Child Abuse

All children and young people should be able to grow up where, they are safe, have warmth and love, are able to be supported to reach their potential and be in a stable environment having effective care.

Child abuse is any action by another person, adult or child that harms them. It could be in the form of:

  • Neglect
  • Physical Abuse
  • Sexual Abuse
  • Emotional Abuse

If you think a child is being abused or neglected it is important to act as quickly as possible.
